sequential comparison index is a diversity index measures the number of sequences with samples of the total number of samples is divided at a checkpoint.

Diversity index (DI) = no. Track / Total No. Copies

Example:
Backswimmers - Back Float - Back Float - Dragonfly - Dragonfly - mosquitoes - mosquito larvae - the larvae of mosquitoes - Mayfly - Mayfly - Mayfly - Mayfly - Dragonfly - Notonecta

There are fourteen specimens.

There are also seven consecutive races:
First - back swimmer Notonecta - Notonecta
Secondly Damselfly - Dragonfly
Third, Midge
Fourthly, mosquito larvae - the larvae of mosquitoes
Fifth flight: flying the ephemeral - May - May-May Fly
Six: Damselfly
September: Notonecta

Therefore, returning to the formula:
DI = 7 races / 14 samples in total = 0.50
