A girl in my school called Jodanna, they called him Joey.
There was some girl named Lorna which is pretty rare.
I'm not a big fan of rare and unusual name if you try for your child is unique in its class with the name you choose, and even a "unique" choice of the name can end up with two class.
When I went to school I was the only one in the class of Stephanie and the name is not rare or unique, Stephanie and I was the only high school year in my (more than 300 students which is not bad)
I called the Venus, which means beautiful. It was a bit strange, I am a man, but a great name for a girl.
I also like a daughter Jovita, the Latin and means VEE (happy-TAH-imposed or Jo-vi-ta).
Girls is another name Lei-Lei (pronounced Lee Lee) which means flower, is beautiful.
Fot a child, I called my son Tao (pronounced Tayo), ie, a long life.
I like Jiro (pronounced JEE ie ROH), the Japanese and the second child.

The thing with the name is very rare and unique that everyone thinks they call your child an unusual name and unique in the supplement of choice. McKenzie is a good example.
